How to optimize a PDF

  1. Drop your PDF

    A grid of all pages appears.

  2. Reorder / rotate / remove

    Drag to reorder, click ↻ to rotate, click × to remove.

  3. Clean metadata

    Toggle "Remove metadata" to scrub identifying fields.

  4. Save

    The new PDF is generated locally and downloaded.

Frequently asked questions

Will my fonts be lost?

No. Optimize never re-rasterises pages — fonts and vectors are preserved.

Can I rotate to arbitrary angles?

Only 0/90/180/270° — those are the angles a PDF page can store.

Will the file get smaller?

Usually yes (removed pages drop out). For aggressive compression use the Compress tool.

Is my file uploaded?

No — everything runs in your browser.
